The recipe

How to get 350 whp out of a VB WRX

Five steps, in the order that makes sense. This is exactly what is on Fenrir.

  1. 1

    Unlock the ECU $770

COBB Accessport V3 with an off-the-shelf map. Everything after this needs a way to tune, so it comes first.

  2. 2

    Let it breathe in $748

ETS intake with airbox and the Overtake turbo inlet. Smoother air into the turbo, and a cleaner sound.

  3. 3

    Let it breathe out $2,233

Rae-Motorsports intermediate pipe and the Invidia Q300 cat-back exhaust. Less back pressure, and a deep tone without drone.

  4. 4

    Keep it cool $1,250

AMS top mount intercooler and the AMS charge pipe. Cooler charge air means steady power pull after pull.

  5. 5

Tune it for the parts $850

DMann 93 PROTune. A custom tune built around this exact setup on 93 octane. This is where it all comes together.

350 whp / 375 wtqon 93 octane, for about $5,851 in power parts*

* Market value as of October 2026. Parts only, so installation and shop labor are not included. The orange change pocket was 3D printed at home, so it isn't counted. Maintenance is a repeating cost and isn't in the build total.
